Recently, I bought a Sonos 5.1 system (Beam, Sub, 2 one SL) and I did the Trueplay. These days, I realized that the Sub has a low crossover configuration by default, like 80 Hz. My problem is that, to hear the subkick of a song, I need to turn up the volume of the sub to - 3 approximately, and then, when I'm watching to a film, I feel a huge difference of volumes between the dialogues and the bass effects. So, my question is if there is some option available in Sonos to be able to change the crossover of my Sub to 100 Hz. I suppose there is some one because the Sub is an active subwoofer…
Thank you.

Ideally, there would be one setting for Eq and Sub levels for Movies, and a different one for Audio. Maybe when the “legacy” products are no longer part of the new developments cycle we will see such a feature?
Hi
Typically using TruePlay will compensate for all audio sources in a room. However, if you feel more adjustments are required click the first link. The adjustment that may help your case is Phase Control. You can play around with it to determine if there is a “sweet” spot adjustment (i.e. compromise) that works for all your sources in the low-end. The insert is just for information and to be considered as THE answer. You’ll need a SPL meter. Click the second link for a variety of models and price points. Cheers!
The SUB will change crossover depending on which speakers you pair it with. I too have the Beam, and when paired with the Beam I feel the crossover is way higher, upwards around 10-120 Hz.
The only time the crossover is user selectable, is when the SUB is paired with the Connect:AMP, or the AMP. This is because the system won’t know which speakers are connected to the AMP, nor the frequency response. You can see the selectable ones here: https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81C51uTdKaS.pdf. In reality, you could select ANY frequency if you invoked the API manually, however when paired with a Beam or similar that API call returns a fault code.
I used to have it paired with the Connect:AMP running a cross-over at 90 Hz, and I can tell that it is higher with the Beam.
I would actually prefer a lower cross-over, since I have the SUB next to my sofa. You are made aware of the SUBs location on certain scnearios due to the high cross-over, and when running the Beam without the SUB it feels way more capable of lower frequencies than the people at Sonos thinks, and it would have “fixed” my situation.
