Dear Forum,

I have a home gym studio which is 7m x 10m square with 2.6m heigh ceiling and im wondering if i can fill this space with a Sonos system?

Do the Sonos speakers technical gudiance on the space they can provide music to?

Im thinking of 4 to 6 Sonos 1s, 1 in each corner and one half way down the 10m side, expert thoughts?

if a good quality wifi router was in the corner of that 7x10 room, is that coverage going to be ok to reach the furthest speaker?

The stuido is currently being built. so would you cat 6 the speakers, which needs a power socket and cable socket at each?

im assuming to put the OneSLs around 2m high on the wall, thoughts?

Its obvious that a sub joined to this system would be a benefit, but costs are always an issue. Can i join a Sub wifi at later point while up to 6x OneSLs are wired?

Any other thoughts? Im keen to get thoughts from those with more knoledge than i

Hi @andihawes08, welcome to the Sonos community. Thank you for detailing your concern in your post and for letting us know about it. Let me help you out with this.

Trueplay measures how sound reflects off walls, furnishings, and other surfaces in a room, then fine-tunes your Sonos speaker to make sure it sounds great no matter where you've placed it. Your Sonos speakers should be within 30ft away from the router in wireless connection considering the walls, glass windows, and electronics devices that may cause wireless interference otherwise, SonosNet is recommended by hardwiring one of your speakers to your router. Yes, you can add Sonos Sub to your existing system..
