Good day,

We are trying to setup multiple Sonos Systems in a hotel complex. We have multiple speakers for every system.

  1. Hotel reception
  2. Restaurant 1
  3. Restaurant 2
  4. Conference center
  5. Gym
  6. Spa
  7. etc...

What is the best most efficient way to set this up?

Create a different wireless network/VLAN for every location?

Can I have all speakers and locations on the same Wifi network?

Do I need to create a different Sonos account for every location?

Thank you for your help!!

I would perhaps use Sonos Pro (for Business) here before starting this work. See this link:

Unless you have a need to have them isolated one Sonos system with multiple Rooms (zones) might prove less frustrating to maintain.

Commercial music licencing I don’t know, so the Pro link should be step one.

I wanna see how many tries it would take or how  long a system update would take if this was all grouped in a single system.

There is a maximum of 32 Sonos devices in as single ‘system’.

Haven’t done any real testing but here updates seem to vary in length more based on the number of different Sonos speaker types, not on the number of the same Sonos speakers.
