new Sonos amp on S2 app

I have an old  system on the S1 old app and want to replace my amps slowly and so I’m setting up a new amp on the s2 app.  It installs ok but I can’t see the amp in the app and no matter what I do it still doesn’t  appear.  
 

cam both amps co exist in the sane WiFi ?  I thought they could as long as they are on the different apps.  I even installed under a different email to make sure that wasn’t causing the issue

Reset the S2 app - https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-the-sonos-app

Unplug all S1 devices.  Then restart the S2 app.  Choose to setup a new system.  Follow the prompts.

Ok I will try that now !  Will let you know how it goes, thank you
