Userlevel 2

I just installed a new wifi router. I have a Sonos split system. I was able to get the S1 working but couldn’t get the S2 to work. I have two Play 5s and a Boost running on S1 and 2 Play 3s & 2 Fives running on S2. Could you advise on how to proceed? I may have screwed up by trying to reset the apps so I don’t know if I need to start from scratch.

Thank you in advance for any help.

What is the make and model of the new router?

In general, the easiest thing would be to just use the same SSID and password as the old router, the Sonos would have no idea the router was different.

However, if you want to use a new SSID, there should be zero reason to re-set anything up, at the most, you would want to connect one speaker from each system to the router with an Ethernet cable, go into the appropriate controller, and reset the network information. Doing any ‘resets’ would just confuse the system.
