Have Sonos given up supporting their APIs and/or stackoverflow?

I posted this on SO originally, as that is supposed to be the official developer channel, but Sonos seem to have abandoned that, so I am re-posting here.

The Sonos developer site says that stackoverflow is the place to get support for their APIs, but they have been totally silent there for a long time. Additionally their developer site has gotten woefully behind what the APIs actually support. So my questions for Sonos here are:

  1. Is stackoverflow still the official way to get support for their APIs?
  2. Do they plan on updating developer.sonos.com with the newer APIs that are missing?
  3. Do these APIs even have a future? We know that Sonos are going to lock down the developer site soon, but then what? Developers need APIs, and those APIs need support from their owners.

Hmm, this is a disappointment. I had some plans, but if the API’s will soon be out of my reach, why should I bother?

Good question.  Looks like they’re very actively working on Artificial Intelligence and speech recognition, so maybe they’ve put a very low priority on the API.
