Can I use a Bluetooth receiver as an input to my Sonos 5?

We wish to connect a CD player to our Sonos 5, but due to its location, a direct connection is impractical. Is it possible to connect a CD player to a Bluetooth transmitter, then connect a Bluetooth receiver with RCA outputs to the Sonos 5? I know this sounds jerry-rigged, but it’s the only workaround that would fit within our room constraints.

Sonos doesn’t really know or care about the source of the line in on the PLAY:5/Sonos Five, as long as the format is readable by Sonos.

This should work.

Oh, note that the Five/PLAY:5 has a 3.5mm input, not RCA inputs, but that’s just a matter of having the correct cable.
