Hi, anyone know if 5G will work on Sonos?

I'd just like to clarify that while wireless setup can only connect to 2.4Ghz, newer devices (Play:3 onwards chronologically) do support the 5Ghz band and it's used when a Boost is present and/or for home theatre surrounds.
It depends what you mean by 5G. If you mean the 5GHz wifi band then Sonos components only connect to 2.4GHz. It will be OK to have controller devices connect over 5GHz if your router bridges between the two bands or if you have a wired Sonos component
