I honestly believe there is no fix coming and I believe because of that everyone who owns sonos system should be compensated for a deliberate damage to devices by implementing broken software. Full refund for whole system if someone decide to not continue use it in a state as it is now.

I believe that's why consumer laws were made for...

Yeah that probably wont happen because like bruce has said the problem with that is why make the post address the problem if you are never going to fix it. It would be very bad for their company image

We all should approach a good YouTuber who can address it and put it on his channel

Peter Pee:

These videos are truly in depth, but thats also one of the reasons they not contribute to highlight the problem; they are way to nerdy/technical. But dont get me wrong, I do appreciate his work, a lot.

Hey Sonos, this would be an AMAZING time to communicate with your community and let us know what to expect for tomorrow’s update @Ditte

Isn’t it obvious by now that Sonos doesn’t say anything about updates until they are released?

Come on, Sonos.  Subvert this guy’s expectations!

I've been at this 14 years, and they haven't subverted me yet.

four possibilities for today

  1. no update
  2. update that doesn’t address 14.12 arc/sub issues
  3. update that supposedly addresses 14.12 arc/sub issues but doesn’t really and everyone on this forum is still angry. Angrier in fact because all hope is lost.
  4. update that actually fixes issue and performance is at 14.10 levels and everyone is happy.

I don’t know about you but I will be very surprised if it’s number 4.

Agree... and I think it would very likely be 3.

Option 2 or 3. 4 Will likely never happen. Just empty promises.

According to Peter videos timeline, it took exactly 3 months for Sonos to fix the bass issue with the Arc itself (12.0 - 12.0.5). I really hope that today the fix will come 🙏🏻

I actually think the update will be next week. It's supposed to be between the 19th and the 25th right?

A similar timescale to fixing the Standby Issues on the Moves.  Hope this months update comes with a fix for this issue

Peter Pee discussed and demonstrated in a visual; they patch on every 3rd Tuesday of the month.  Even if it’s not every month, it’s the 3rd Tuesday.

We have app update

  • October 18, 2022

There’s no way I’m going in first.

Sonos, wouldn’t kill you would it to tell your customers who’ve been waiting 3 months now if this update has fixed the sub issues.

We have app update

And when I pressed that - it updated my app.

Now every time I go there, it still tells me to update my app - even though the app is at 14.18
