There are different types of Bluetooth codec supported by different devices.

In layman’s term and as far as you may be concerned, Bluetooth codec has to do with audio-delay (lip-sync latency).

In case you ever want to know if your Sonos Move is compatible with another device in terms of Bluetooth codec, then you should know it is SBC codec.

SBC codec maybe the codec with the highest audio-delay. A tip that I can share with you to minimize this delay is to use a Bluetooth transmitter that is connected via optical cable.
