Sonos offers some great architectural speakers.
Sonos should also offer a wall-mounting 'Amp Lite' that can drive a pair of architectural speakers.
The 'Amp Lite' would be functionally similar to the current Amp, but would have less power output (to suit smaller rooms) and a lower price-point.
Does anyone else want one?
Sonance actually makes those speakers, not Sonos, but I get your point.

I was hoping for something suitable for bedrooms - preferably sitting flush with the wall and finished in white - just like an architectural speaker.
