I bought 2 Sonos AMPS & set up a network when we moved to this house w/2 sets of built-in speakers, and that part works well.

Our legacy system is a Denon CD player and Rega RP3 turntable that had been connected to a now-discarded amp, which had been wired to KEF Ls50 wireless speakers. So, I bought a Sonos PORT and connected it to the CD player and added it to the network. So far, so good.

I then bought a Music Hall Mini preamp (supporting MM cartridges) and inserted it between the turntable and a used Sonos CONNECT (Gen 2) I just bought as well. I successfully reset and added the CONNECT to our network, but no sound emanates from the turntable, nor does it when I plug it into the PORT.

Which leads me to believe I have a preamp/turntable issue (preamp was $99 from Crutchfields), but perhaps I am missing something w/regard to the network. Any suggestions welcome.

Hi @Jay-Dubs, thanks for raising this with the Sonos Community!

Certainly sounds like you’ve got everything wired up correctly, may be worth double checking that all of the cables are connected to the correct inputs and outputs.
