I am wondering if I can create a home theater surround system 3.1 or 5.1 with a SONOS Connect (connected to two actice AudioPro speakers), a SONOS sub and 2 SONOS ONE speakers? Or do I need a SONOS Beam or so to make a surround system?

The 'connect' unfortunately cannot be used for sonos surround sound, only the connect:amp, or better still, the new Sonos Amp, when it is released next year.
Here are all the details
FRONT CHANNELS
Either the Sonos Beam/PlayBar/PlayBase/New Sonos Amp are required for a 3.0 setup (or 3.1 if you wish to include the sub).
(Note: if you decide to wait and use the new Amp for the front channels, that the centre channel is a 'phantom' or 'ghost' channel.)
REAR CHANNELS
The following devices can be used for the two rear speakers in a 5.0/5.1 Dolby Digital Surround setup.
Play:1
Play: 3
Play:5 (gen2 only)
Sonos One

For the avoidance of doubt, the Connect can't be bonded with any other player. Not even a Sub.
