Does Amp have a better DAC or sound processing than the Connect:Amp?

I'm trying to determine which one to buy to drive a pair of Polk MC80 ceiling speakers. They are 100 watt maximum and I understand that the Amp won't blow them even though it can go up to 125 watt. I should know these things, but I'm still learning! Recommendations?

In an audiophile "My dog is better than your dog" sort of showdown, I think that most observers will feel that AMP wins.
Well, the Sonos Amp probably has a newer set of chips, since the two products were designed many years apart. Better is a relative term, and would be hard to tell. I'd assume that both do the job they're required to in order to provide the appropriate data to the Sonos ecosystem.
