No functional benefit compared to wiring them individually to switch ports. However there's a limit to the length of a daisy-chain. Wire no more than 3 in a line out of a single port. (Strictly speaking there's a recommended maximum 'network diameter' of 7, but the 3-in-a-line guidance is a decent rule of thumb.)
