Hi all,

Today I purchased a pair of QED Reference XT40i cables which are terminated with Airloc Banana Plugs. They go all the way into the terminals on my speakers (KEF LS50).

I wanted to ask anyone who is using Banana plugs with their CONNECT:AMP if the banana plugs go all the way in, flush with the speaker terminals - or if they slightly protude?

Have pushed as hard as possible, but thought it best to check before risking damage to the plugs …

Thanks.

Hi @canary, thank you for reaching back to the Sonos Community and letting us know about your concern. Let me help you with this.

When connecting the speaker wire, insert the stripped end of the speaker wire into the hole, and then release it. The stripped portion should be caught firmly in the connector post.

Hope this helps.
