Running 4 speakers on new Sonos Amp

Hi

Does anyone know if it's possible to put some sort of In Line Volume Control when running 4 speakers from the new Sonos Amp

Setup is 2 speakers in Kitchen and 2 outdoors. Issue is would like to be able to adjust the volume of each pair separately as the outdoor ones tend to be turned up more but then it's too loud in the kitchen.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Unfortunately running in mono with one room on left channel and one on right is the only way it seems. A bit clunky as you need to open the settings set room to mono and fade L-R to adjust balance of rooms.

Ok thanks - looks like a 2nd Amp will be on order soon then 🙂
You mean to wire in hardware volume control? Sure, that can be done no 0roblem. Any speaker level volume controls will do, but impedance matching controls will account for speakers that are outside the recommended load of 4 Ohms.
A second AMP is the most elegant solution. With this arrangement you will have separate control of each area using the SONOS App. Inserting Volume controls in the speaker wires will also solve the relative level issue, however, both areas will play the same music and one must travel to the control locations in order to make relative Volume level adjustments.
