Do Sonos make a speaker that can used in a shower room or bathroom?
I am aware that a Play 1 can be used in a humid atmosphere, but not sure if it would be suitable for a steamy atmosphere in a wet room.

Play:1 is designed to be "humidity resistant". This thread has a quote from a Sonos rep that using it in a steam shower or very humid bathroom should be fine:

"The PLAY 1 is designed to be resistant against incidental dripping water and against high humidity such as found in bathrooms with running showers. However, it is not considered water resistant.
We believe it should be fine in a steam shower, although we have not tested this."

For true waterproof speakers, you should use passive speakers designed for a shower wired to a Connect:Amp.

Not going to actually be in the wet area, but it would be in a steamy atmosphere. Will the Play 1 be up to it?
