Hi there,

I’ve a pair of Play One speakers, an SL and a Beam - my query is am I able to connect a turntable (not yet purchased, was considering a Rega Planar 1 Plus) to these products?

I’m unsure if I need to buy a turntable with a phono-stage, a Connect or Amp, or a combo of these.

Can anybody please advise me?

Thanks in advance.

JB

Edit - title should be Play One

You can connect a Victrola Stream to Sonos.

Other turntables need Bluetooth or Line-In capable Sonos devices to connect making the $399 Oynx tempting and the $699 Carbon very nice.

Line-In does require a phono pre-amp, either built in or external to work.

There are some Bluetooth issues with some Sonos so check the forums for the latest info.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply Stanley_4

I’ve weighed up the costs of buying additional kit & placed an order for a Victrola Onyx instead!

 Thanks again!
