Does anyone think it would be good idea to have a system that is WiFi enabled or with the option
To use it by Bluetooth if WiFi is not available. We all have these fantastic speakers but what happens if no WiFi it’s just a box or maybe an offline mode possibly using Bluetooth. I realise that one of the selling features is no dropouts like Bluetooth causes due to emails text messages or push notifications but this is for a backup, also what about the market that doesn’t have WiFi not everyone does maybe 90% + I would think but never the less.

This need is best addressed by existing bluetooth portable speakers. Sonos does not see this as its market.
The Sonos solution for no internet/back up/main source is music stored on a local NAS or computer. WiFi inside the home is still needed though.
