Speaker placement on kitchen counter top

Has anyone encountered WiFi signal issues placing Sonos speakers on kitchen counter tops made of certain materials such as granite, marble, quartz or tile? My speakers (Play 3s vertically oriented) are currently on a counter made of formica (well away from water and spills) with no problems, but we have plans to re-model the kitchen and upgrade the counter top material. Thanks for sharing your ideas and experiences.

Hi Surf Rat

Those materials are non-conductive (granite, marble, quartz or tile) . However they could potentially block a Wi-Fi signal if used as a wall. No worries when used as a countertop.

Cheers!

Agreed. I have a play:3 sitting on a granite countertop and never had any issues.
Thank you both for your responses. Quite helpful!
