Sonos Sub and Playbar: Risk of no Support Shortly?

I was considering purchasing the Playbar and Subwoofer to add to my current Sonos ecosystem but after reading the announcement that Sonos would not be providing support for its legacy products, I’m now hesitant.  

Both products I believe were released in 2012.  I’m concerned that these two will follow shortly and be added to the legacy products.

 

Any thoughts from the community?

Since they are still being sold by Sonos you have a minimum of five years of support starting the day Sonos quits selling them, whenever that is.
