Sonos Roam Stereo, only one works

So I got a second Roam to enjoy the stereo greatness. Both are online and connected, paired in stereo. Only 1 speaker will play music at a time. If I turn off the speaker that works the other one suddenly works again. When they are both on the working speaker is playing in stereo but the other is silent. I have reset the speakers twice now, reset the router a few times, Uninstaller and reinstalled the app. I am wits end and completely bummed put with all of this. I worked for a bit and was amazing.... now not so much

Do the speakers show as a stereo pair in the Sonos app?

Do you have a mesh network or a traditional network with range extenders/access points?
