sonos roam malfunction

Has anyone experienced the same thing? Our roam was connected to the mains and playing music when it suddenly disconnected and for the last 40 mins or so has been emitting a really really loud noise like a helicopter. We can’t turn it off, have disconnected it from the mains and tried all the options to turn it off. It is now over heating and we have had to put it outside. ( and in a box due to how loud it is). We have had it less than 1 week. We will return it but am just hoping the noise stops so we can take it out of the box, and that it doesn't catch fire first!

I would suggest reaching out to Sonos Support, informing them of your situation, and they will be able to assist you further.
