Hi all,

I currently have a Sonos Playbar, Sonos SUB and a Connect AMP wired with 2 rear speakers.

I'm in doubt what would give me the best audio:

Sonos Playbar + Sonos Sub (current setup)

or connect 2 B&W 685 to act as front speakers and sell the Playbar/Sub. I will lose a bit of bass but adding stereo effect by the 685's.

Anyone who has done this switch or experience with both?

Thanks in advance!

The best audio doesn't exist. If it sounds perfect to you, perfect it is.

Why not just try and put the stereos in front and compare? How are we able to decide what sounds better to you.

In my opinion a wired Stereo system or 5.1 system with AVR is always better than Sonos.
Resusaap,

Once PLAYBAR is removed, CONNECT:AMP cannot be operated in surround mode. Of course, you could use the CONNECT:AMP to drive the front speakers. Note that most current TV's do not provide an analog audio output. Therefore you may need a converter for the Audio.
Hi Resusaap,

I was curious what you ended up doing and how happy you were with the results?
