Sonos MOVE power options

Hi,

I am considering purchasing a MOVE for mainly outdoor use, but I may also use it indoors. 

Can the MOVE run on AC power, as well as the battery?  Or is the AC base only for charging?

I have an AC outlet outdoors and am wondering if I can take advantage of this existing power source.

The Move can sit on the base and play audio while charging, but the charging base isn’t designed for outdoor use.   The Move also has a USB-C charging port, you can separately buy a charger to do that if you prefer.  The Move shouldn’t be left outside permanently though and has a 10 hour battery life, so you shouldn’t really have much to plug it in while outdoors.

Welcome to the sonos community, @melvimbe is correct and the whole idea of the Move is to take it out and about without leads. Charge it then take it outside.
