power on failure PLAYBAR

Has anyone else experience a power on failure for a PLAYBAR? My PLAYBAR just stopped receiving power. And I am just wondering if anyone else experiences this issue. Is it common? And to get a replacement it’s only $130.00 cheaper then buying a brand new one. Seems like not such good customer service when a unit just stops working and you have to pay almost full price.
