Play 5 - Line-in question

Hi,

I have a Play5 stereo set-up with sub (plus a Connect).
I want to be able to use all my sources through this system.

Spotify
TV
LP-Player

Can I use the following:

Loewe TV coaxial output to DA-converter, RCA to Connect (TV sound). From Connect wireless to Play 5s.
LP-player directly to one of the Play 5s (analogue input).

Is that possible?

Thanks

First thing you should be cautious of is the fact that any analog input on a Sonos device incurs a minimum of 70ms delay...and can be more, depending on the settings for that line in. So, you may have trouble getting a good experience with the TV syncing the video with the audio.

Other than that issue, your plan seems solid. The Analog input on the CONNECT would be the TV, the analog input on the PLAY:5 would be the turntable. One thing you should check is if your turntable (LP) has a built in pre-amp. If it does, it needs to be turned on, the Sonos is looking for what is called a "Line Level" input, not a "Phono Level" which is what all turntables put out.

But other than those two cautions, your plan is good.
