We need an outdoor weather resistant speaker that can play on the patio or by the pool

Your options:
1. Install outdoor speakers that are wired back to a Connect Amp indoors.
2. Take a Sonos speaker out if you have a mains socket, and take it in once music play is over. Preferably a 1/5 unit for some humidity resistance - NOT splashes. And none that can be safely left out of doors.
3. Get one of the many good Bluetooth speakers, some of which even float in a pool, and run on a rechargeable battery.
4. Wait for Sonos. Not recommended because you may end up waiting forever.
