Music won't start through Sonos app until pressing play on speaker

Hello,

When I try to start music playing through the Sonos app nothing happens until I physically press play on the speaker.  This occurs on all my speakers (playbar, beam, play1).   Once pressing play it seems to work fine while I am using it.  It seems to have issues in between uses.  

I do have Alexa, ring doorbell, etc connected up and it’s possible this occurs after a notification.  

Any idea why the speakers seem to go offline in between uses of the Sonos app like this?

Perhaps try a reset of the Sonos App in "Settings/App Preferences” and reconnect the App back to the ‘existing’ system.

Also go onto set your routers 2.4Ghz WiFi channel to a fixed non-overlapping channel like 1, 6 or 11 and set it’s channel-width to 20MHz and see if that resolves your issues.
