Move doesn't charge reliably

I regularly leave my Move on its base and cant get the contacts to light the charging light meaning I regularly cant use it and would happily chuck it away if it hadnt cost my wife so much money

Please can you explain what you mean by this? Does it display a flashing amber light (indicating low battery) when you try to use it? Does it show as having low battery state when viewed in the Sonos app?
