Has anyone noticed the Move sounding different/less robust when connected via Bluetooth vs WiFi to the same audio source?  I understand the technologies transfer audio differently, but are they both lossless?  Is there an audio source setting that can be adjusted to make the transfer more similar?

Thanks,

Mike

AFAIK, neither are lossless. I would hazard a guess that Bluetooth maybe more bandwith-limited than WiFi, but I've never gone into the specs as I own neither a Move nor a Roam.

In general, listening to music over Bluetooth will be lower quality than listening to music over WiFi as Bluetooth has more limited bandwidth so there will be more lossy data compression. But the quality of the audio also depends on your audio source.

That makes sense.  Does anyone know what Bluetooth version the Move has?

According to this article from March, the Roam uses Bluetooth 4.2.
