I own a Playbase, two Sonos SL 1’s and a Move. When I remove the Move from its Charging Ring, it Powers Off and can not be turned back on unless returned to the charging ring. This occurs whether or not the Move is Grouped or Ungrouped to the Playbase in the System settings. When it is on the Charging Ring the Battery level indicates 100%. Is this a System setup issue or a problem with my Move itself?

I have a house-full of Sonos kit, and have been a user for many years. Last year I added a Roam, which has worked well until the last few days. About a week ago it disappeared from the list of products shown on my Android app. I simply reinstalled it and forgot about the problem. Yesterday it again disappeared but this time I have been unable to reinstall it. I’ve done all the usual & recommended things, including deleting the app. from my ‘phone and reinstalling it, all to no avail.Just now I signed on to my Sonos account on my PC, and the Roam is showing. I set it up to play some music, and it works perfectly from my PC. However despite every effort at getting it to show on my Android ‘phone it doesn’t show on the app. This is important as I use the Roam in my garden & don’t want to have to rush into the house to control it! So, I’ve had my Sonos system for a few years and recently had nothing but problems with it. On my partners phone all three of our devices show up (Sony) and on my iPhone I only get 2 of our three devices. Both logged into the same system. Ive restarted all devices, disconnected them from the system and rejoined them but it still won’t appear on my controller. the missing speaker works fine on his device but I can’t even see it when I search for new devices. two Sonos One devices appear on my phone but not my PLAY:3 any ideas? Fed up of the unpredictability with the system.
I would like to connect to my Play 1 as my main computer speaker however I don’t see it in my Sound Preferences. I have 2 Play 1s, a Connect and a Beam. I have all devices connected on my iPhone and can see them in the Sonos app and through Airplay. However I can’t see the Play 1 in my Preferences, only the Connect and Beam. However, I can connect to the Play 1 in certain apps, like Spotify, through Airplay (on the desktop/MBP, the phone is fine). It shows up on the Spotify app, but not in my System Preferences as a sound source. Is something wrong with my set-up or is it not designed to connect this way? I’m running Monterey 12.1
My existing setup is a Sonos Amp, a Sonos Sub and a pair of conventional ceiling speakers wired to produce stereo audio (obviously). I then bought a Sonos One SL to add to the same room to “widen” the audio image. However, when adding it to the system it did not offer me the option of adding it to the existing room. So, I just created a new variation of the room name. But now when I play audio I get 2 volume controls on the app (one for what was the original setup) and one for the new speaker. This means I have to adjust one of those volume sliders each time I begin playing from my music library. How can I set them up to be in the same room with just one volume control and, I assume some balance slider that I can set once and then leave? Thanks in advance.
My pair of Play:1 speakers are like new, we’ve barely used them. Purchased them in April 2019. Now, neither of them will power up/turn on. There’s just no light at all. I’ve been through all the troubleshooting steps with Sonos Support. They won’t replace them but will give us a small discount on new speakers. Are the Play:1 speakers to be avoided? Why such poor quality?
I have an almost one your old Sonos Beam. Until today, the white status LED was on whenever the Beam was playing, and after a while idle the LED turned off automatically.Since today, the white led stays on all the time, also after hours ofo being idle. I know I can turn off the LED permanently in the app, but I don't want to do that. I like the led being one when the device is in use, and disappear when it's not.I already factory resetted the Beam as well as reinstalled the app, but this didn't help.Funny enough I read everywhere on the internet that the white led never turns off itself. But I am 100% sure mine did. It's frustrating me.Does anyone hava a solution? Is the white status light on your Beam turning off after being idle for a while?
More random software issues…. I have had a Move for 2 days. First day it was fine, added to my network, etc worked great.Today I moved it outside with me (well within wifi range, the router is just on the other side of a window) and it worked fine until I pressed Pause and went away for a few hours. Now I cannot get it to work at all. The Sonos app shows its connected and playing music but no sound comes out.I’ve got a solid white light and if press Play on the Move itself, it blink white for a bit and then back to solid white, still without any music. What do I do?
Hi everyone I have a Sonos Roam device since April and I feel that it’s not giving me its best performance since the two last months, the audio drops out or cuts off using Airplay and Bluetooth, it gets unresponsive with Alexa and a really bad behavior using Airplay. After about 3 months the Airplay issue with my Sonos Roam reappeared, the audio is frequently cutting off or pausing with not reason, very frustrating! I’ve got a replacement and this is the second unit that I have, awful! doing so many factory resets, rebooting my router several times, and reinstalling the controller on my iPhone didn’t fix my issue, still the error persists, and Alexa sometimes gets unresponsive if I ask for music or some other commands, answering with any error, the audio cuts off or simply stops working, sometimes rebooting my speaker works, but sometimes not. My Wifi signal is pretty good, so, I suspect my unit has a firmware issue, with all other devices I don’t have Wifi issues, so I think it has
I have a protected under deck patio. Absolutely no rain on it, but it is outdoors. Looking at putting a pair of Sonos 1 under there. I wonder if anyone had experience with leaving Sonos one speakers outdoors, but not in the weather/rain? I know I can buy outdoor speakers and an amplifier, but add $1000 that’s too much.
Hi all. Current set up = Beam,Sub and pair 1’s in living room. I'm getting a Connect amp with a pair of passive outdoor speakers for alfresco area. Can I group the alfresco speakers to the living room, so I can listen to football when out there. I’m hoping I don’t have run cables from the amp to the tv. Cheers
Sonos no Bluetooth workaroundWould it be possible to use a Sonos speaker through airplay when the wifi provider my phone is connected to is not suitable to connect a Sonos to (the wifi in many universities requires a username and password to login, and even then can be problematic in terms of tethering devices together on the network) I’ve read online that airplay can work as a sort of hotspot for connection so I’m wondering wether it would work in a scenario where I was unable to connect my Sonos to the network? Barring this if any users have had any experience using Sonos in university or that sort of username and password type of network any help would be appreciated
Hello,I currently have a Sonos Arc for my TV and im in love with it.I would like to know if one of the speakers would be suitable for a computer, either for video conferences, listening to music, videos and playing games. If it could also be plugged in a Turntable, it would be perfect.Waiting for your answer and your opinionHave a great dayGreetings,Roy
