I have 2 WIRED Play 5 (Gen 2) as a stereo pair, when I play music, one speaker plays, but the other wont connect

I have a weird problem (and Ive had it for months).

 

I have 2 WIRED Play 5 (Gen 2) as a stereo pair.

 

As soon as I play music to the group, one of the speakers gets the audio and starts playing.

The other speaker blinks orange and white.

When I try and adjust the volume, it just resets to back to some predetermined value.

 

The only way I can fix this, is start to press the “play” button on the broken speaker until both speakers play the audio.

 

Has anyone experienced something like this before?

Other users here can’t see your diagnostic, only Sonos support staff and they may be on the long weekend.

Ah, I know that. Added it for the off chance a Sonos support person would happen to read the thread :o)
