My play1 speaker has dropped off my system and when I press the mute/play button on the speaker it does not flash amber or white. What can I do to correct this issue?

In addition, factory resetting a component is almost never necessary, and can wipe out any settings you have.

You do realise you just replied to a post that was posted in April 2014.. over 4 years ago?
Do a tech support search for "speaker dropping off". Try doing a factory reset and re-add your speaker to the system. If still does not work, run a diagnostic report and contact sonos tech support
