All - attached is the layout of my kitchen area & family room (~42’x17’). In my family room, I have marked where my Playbar and sub are located. I have also labeled where I intend to put either one’s/symfonisk bookshelf speakers as rears. My question pertains to my kitchen area and what speakers/configuration would be recommended (to compliment family room for when entertaining with music). I have 9 foot ceilings and my cabinets are relatively high but am able to put speakers on-top of them which would slightly be blocked by the molding on the top cabinets. That said, I am looking for a recommendation on the following questions:
- Should I place One’s above the top cabinets (essentially ceiling height) or mount symphonics underneath top cabinets (essentially counter height)?
- Should I use 2, 3, or 4 speakers in kitchen; 3 seems ideal but then two would be pair and one would not … wondering what people think about this
- Can I place them along wall where range is and sink (marked those walls as “A” and “B” respectively) or would placing them along some combination of “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D” make an incremental difference … I don’t currently have 110v above cabinets so easier along “A” and “B” but if the thought is “C” and “D” would be dramatically different, this could be option
- Given these will be in kitchen and I plan on buying 2-4 speakers, do we think the Symfonisk would be fine or should I go with One’s?
Appreciate any thoughts and feedback. Thank you.
