I have an approx 32x16 covered porch that I would like to use sonos on--want to attach to wall so they don't "walk" off to other places 🙂 They would be pretty well protected but there is the occasional blowing rain. Any one else have this? And what setup would you recommend? Thanks!

Hi henjen

There are three options IMO.

1. Sonance outdoor speakers. They are weather resistant. You would have to purchase a Sonos Amp or the less powerful Connect Amp.

2. Sonos One's which are moisture resistant. They would require you to cover them under extreme weather condition as you described otherwise they should be OK. Sonos Ones's also offer Alexa Voice assistant and later will accommodate Google assistant (probably not both at the same time). They are also AirPlay2 compatible.

3. Play 1's which are moisture resistant. They would require you to cover them under extreme weather condition as you described otherwise they should be OK.

I hope this helps. Cheers!
