Need additional speaker suggestions

Have Sonos Beam.  Need an additional speaker to place near my Dad who has hearing issues.  
 

-Just like the Beam, need it to automatically come on when the TV is turned on  

-Need it to stay connected to the TV and Beam  (he will NOT know how to reconnect or reset, etc)

-If it’s volume can be adjusted independently of the TV/Beam when needed, that would be a plus but not a must-have. 
 

will an Alexa, echo, Google, etc work or must it be a Sonos?

Sonos doesn’t make a system designed for use by the hard of hearing, there is no satisfactory way to do what you want to do.
