Media room set up advice

I am a long time Sonos user but am planning an upgrade and just want to check that I can configure the system the way I want to. In my main living area, I plan to put an Arc, a Sub, and an Amp connected to 2 in wall speakers with those Amp and those 2 in-wall speakers behaving as surround speakers when I watch TV. When I am not watching the TV, I would like the Amp and in-wall connected speakers, to work with the Sub (and maybe the Arc as well) to play music. I also have other ‘rooms’ set up with existing S2 speakers in adjacent rooms and would like to leverage the Sub for those rooms as well, when playing music. Does that all sound feasible? Is it just a case of setting up multiple ‘rooms’, with some components being associated with multiple rooms?

Yes/no. The Sub can only be bonded to one room at a time. If you want to play music while using the Sub, you’ll need to ‘group’ the Arc’s room as well. Other than that small difference, your system will work as you desire.
