And Powered by Two Traditional Receivers

So the previous owners ran speakers in some rooms and not others.

The main floor - this is powered by a Yamaha receiver which the tv, fire stick, blue ray, etc run through. It has 3 zones total (great room, den and kitchen). For some reason speakers were never installed on the wall where the TV hangs. As it stands now I do not have a sound bar. The only speakers for the TV are mounted in the wall behind the couches. It’s awkward having the sound behind you while watching tv. The den and kitchen on either side have ceiling mounted traditional speakers. The receiver has a Multi room switch box.

I would like to figure out how to incorporate what I have, solve my front speaker issue (sound bar?) using a sonos system.

We have an echo and it would be nice to use it through the hardwired speakers too.

2). Basement is a similar set up. The Yamaha receiver handles the tv, Apple TV, dvd, etc. the basement has two zones set up through the receiver.

The bsmt and 1st floor systems are totally autonomous from one another.

Any ideas? I don’t want to start from scratch so I am hoping there is a way to use both systems

Thanks for your help!!!
