Since the Playbar already has some bass capability itself, it might not add very much to it. Make sure you can send it back if that is the case.
Playbar + Sub Gen 1 makes a substantial difference. I’m sure the Sub Mini will also.
It's only tbe Playbase, I think, that has a built in subwoofer. So there is a good chance a subwoofer would significantly enhance the bass on the Playbar.

Yes, the Sub Mini is compatible with the Playbar when running S2.
