Hey guys, I love the Google assistant integration with my Sonos! But i have 9 Sonos speakers of which only 1 Sonos One speaker. Voice control works perfect, but i was wondering, is there a way to push the playback of Google assistant to all or to more than only my 1 Sonos ONE speaker? It would be cool if I can push Google's Assistant voice to all my Sonos speakers in my dining room but I have clue if that's possible? thnx !
This Verge article shows that Amazon is pushing to develop some standards for voice assistants. The impact is going to be rather interesting and good for the non-tech giants. Unfortunately, Google, Apple, and Samsung don't want to play ball. What does this mean for Sonos, since they're on-board? It could mean that additional voice assistants, and therefore additional features, could be coming to Sonos voice enabled speakers. It could mean that additional streaming services, maybe the local library if someone builds the assistant, can now be voice controlled. The downside is that if Google isn't on board, then it's not going to allow users to to talk to Google and Alexa on the same speaker. I also wonder what kind of hardware's going to be required to make voice interchangeability work, and whether existing Sonos speakers can be u
Play music from the Sonos App to GH speakers Hello! Yesterday i completed the integration with Google Home and it works well but i can't find a way to use to Sonos app to play music to the Google Home speakers i have(GH Max and mini). Did I miss something in the setup process or is the feature to play music to GH speakers from the Sonos app not there? Sorry for the headline in swedish, thought it would be posted in the swedish form and it seems I cant edit it
Hi All I have read through the marketing blurb but I'm still unclear about voice control limitations when playing apple music through airplay 2. I currently have homepods which having Siri allow me to ask them to start playing Apple music on the 'listening' device as well other homepods in the home. I of course can skip tracks and change the volume via Siri. If I were to add a Sonos One device to my setup I imagine I could 'talk' to the Homepods to start playing Apple music on the Sonos One but I would not be able to 'talk' to the Sonos One to start playing Apple Music on it and or the Homepods, I would need to use my iphone to trigger this. I imagine I could only 'talk' to the Sonos One to play Apple Music via the alexa skill meaning it would NOT show up on the airplay 2 controls on my iphone to be able to 'manually' play the same music on my homepods? Is this accurate? Can you still control volume on Sonos when it is being 'played to' by a homepod, can it skips tracks in this sce
It seems that my 2 sonos one units are not synced with my Echo. It shows them as speakers in the alexa App but I cannot create groups combining the Echo and Sonos one. All are on the same amazon account. For example If I set a timer or reminder on the echo the sonos one units don't seem to be able to access them and vise versa. Am I doing something wrong or are they really not compatible?
Hello Amazon announced on 9/26 that celebrity voices will be coming to their voiced enabled Alexa devices for weather updates. Evidently, you'll have a choice for family friendly and adult versions for some of the voices. Sounds cool. However, they are pay-to-listen at $0.99 cents/month. I wonder if the choice(s) will trickle down to Sonos Alexa voice enabled devices? Doesn't manner as I have several Amazon Alexa devices scattered throughout my home. I was previously using Alexa, but have switched to Google Assistant now I've got an Android. The sensitivity of waking Google with "Ok Google" is much lower than when using Alexa - when can this be fixed? Also, in my case I have two sonos ones as rear speakers, with amp as front two with sub, when using Alexa both rear ones would listen, now only the rear left?????
Hello. I am trying to sync my wife's voice with sonos so she can play sonos via voice control on Google assistant. I can do this on my device but she cannot. The Sonos app on her phone is logging into my Sonos account and therefore picks up my voice control not hers. Is there a way to make this work, so she can control Sonos with her voice? Thanks
Starting to get annoyed... Purchased 2 google minis and a Sonos One to go with my 4 play ones, play bar and bass. Two of the play ones are set up surround sound with the bar.

I have found it is better to start music with the Sonos app. When I ask google to play pandora, it plays music, but I can't say play pandora thumprint. Funny thing is, I can say hey google, stop music, even though I have started it through sonos app. You can also say hey google, skip song.
Someone suggested we upload our saved music to Google PLay. My songs on my computer won't upload. Did some searching, said to use the Music Manager in google, see why they won't upload. Can't get Music Manager to work. Some DLL error. Googled that. Found I should download something from Microsoft from 2013. I could not do that.
If I do say Hey Google, play music from Pandora, how do I see what station is playing? How can I easily change the station?
Casting - when I want to cast, I click t
Have been using Beam and Sonos One with Alexa for nearly a year and up until a month ago everything was perfect. However, there are now 5-10 second delays between every request I'm making and execution. The echo and echo dot I am using upstairs are working as expected, so the issue appears to be related to the Sonos devices. I have tried repairing them to the internet, but that has not alleviated the delay. Any suggestions?
I know you can only use one Voice Assistant natively on the Sonos One, but is there a way to get the best of both worlds ? I'd like to use Google Assistant for day to day voice commands as well as use the power of the Sonos speaker with a "paired" Echo Dot. I have the Sonos One and Echo Dot in the kitchen I have a few reasons for wanting to do this 1) Sonos One cannot exist in an Amazon Multi Room Music Group - if like to play the same music on my multiple Amazon devices around the house and the kitchen is excluded - I am reluctant to add another (bluetooth) speaker into the kitchen to facilitate this 2) The Sonos One doesn't support the new Amazon Alexa kitchen / timer clock So basically if like to use the Sonos One all the time but there are restrictions in Alexa compatibility meaning i would still need the Dot for the two features above but use the more powerful Google Assistant too So - is it possible to "pair" the Dotand the Sonos One,get all the benefits I need AND still
How do I get my beam to play music that I own and is saved on my phone with a voice command? When I ask it to pay anything, it says I don't have a subscription so Google Play Music. GPM is my default music service since all my music is uploaded into that library. I can cast it to the Beam, but it wont play anything I ask it to.
It's extremely silly that the Sonos beam has Google assistant built in, but I can't add it to a speaker group and play multi room audio with the rest of my Google cast enabled speakers. Im not buying any more Sonos products until this gets fixed. I know they want people to stay in their ecosystem but that's more of a deterrent than anything. Get it together Sonos!
Hi, A relatively new owner of 4 Sonos One's with Alexa - Very pleased with the sound quality but was annoyed to find there wasn't the full range of Alexa functionality available on the One. I have since read a little about Amazon now allowing grouping and setting a default audio device as the One, so my question is this: If I put an echo dot next to all my Sonos's ones (4 different groups)

Would I have any voice conflict i.e. both devices in same group responding?
Would I be able to use drop in from 1 group to another?
Do routines work well/at all if I had this set up? (found a post that is 9 months old that says this is still a problem)
With Black Friday approaching not to far away, the usual price of Dots is £25 so was thinking of getting 4 to sit alongside the Sonos ones, just for Drop in and Routines Many thanks in advance for any help
I'm trying to trigger Calm using Google Assistant on my Sonos one, so that I don't have to open the distraction/stress generator machine that is my iPhone. :) However, this task is making me all but calm. When say "on Google talk to calm" to the Sonos it says that "calm is not supported on this device". I've also tried putting Calm content into My Sonos in the Sonos app, which works, but I can't seem to find a way to play those via Google Assistant. Google Assistant on the Sonos One works great I'm general, plays Spotify etc. Calm works when using it from the Sonos app. Calm works when using the iOS Google Assistantant app. Can you provide some trick to solve my ailment?
Basically, I have two Sonos ones paired together and use Alexa to control them. They play music great and work well with Alexa whenever I tell her to play a song or playlist off of my linked Spotify account. The Alexa in the Sonos also works for routines like turning on lights. But, whenever I try and create a routine that has Alexa turn on lights AND start playing a song or responding to me she’ll say: “audio actions and routines are not available with this device” and that I need to enable the Alexa skill for my second Sonos one speaker. How do I fix this?
As of today i can not connect my Sonos account to IFTTT .
