ZP80 flashes green and white perpetually

Early SONOS adopter from 2008. 
one of my zp80s has been dead for a while. Trying to resuscitate. It does not appear on my network. 
factory reset flashes orange only. Not orange and white. Then after 30 seconds ends up green and white simultaneously flashing. 
same if I boot up without holding down mute (to factory reset). 
tried both wireless and plugged in to Ethernet. 
Am I sunk?

The factory reset was probably an error, it rarely helps and often makes things worse.

It worked. One reset acted differently than the other.  I’m running with all four zones. Thanks much!

one flashed orange and white during reset. One just orange.
