Why NetGear Range Extender Won’t Connect To Router ?

A couple of days ago, I purchased Netgear extender thinking to boost my internet connection but it could not get connected to router.After searching for some solution I found many people have the same issues. Is someone help us to fix this.

Don't worry I am going to explain this in a simple and easy way just follow my instructions

first of all, you need to understand why this issue occurs
> wireless router is not being configured with your range extender.
> continuous losing internet connection and range extender blinking orange.

let's solve it:-
> plug out your extender from a power outlet.
> reset Netgear range extender.
> plug your range extender into a power outlet.
> connect your router with a computer using Ethernet cable.
> Lounch an online browser and enter http://www.mywifiext.net
> A window will be prompt asking username and password.
> username is admin
> password is the password
