very scratchy bass

Hi,

 

My speaker has extremely scratchy bass. A song without bass can play perfectly fine.

 

ive sent a diagnostic report, 1295021284.

 

Anyone have any idea on how the problem can be fixed, or if it is fixable?

Hardware problem aside, have you considered TruePlay tuning, or retuning, the speaker to see if that fixes the issue? Also if it’s not your only device, you could consider a factory reset as a last resort, but I would only do that if you have another device that will retain the Sonos Household settings, particularly before speaking with Sonos Customer Care Staff.

The speaker is tuned, and have tried retuning it also with no success. I also tried factory resetting, this didn’t fix the issue.

I would contact Sonos Customer Care (24/7) via the link in my last post and see what they can see from your diagnostic.

Factory reset rarely cures fundamental issues and it destroys most of the diagnostic data.

Which model speaker are you using?
