I have updated the software, but everything in the Manage menu is grayed out.'

It's one of two things. Either the operating system is only partially supported as listed here:

http://www.sonos.com/en-gb/software/release/7-0

Warning: Partially Supported Controllers
Upon installing 7.0, Sonos controllers on these operating systems will remain Partially Supported Controllers:

Android: 2.2, 2.3, and 3.x
iOS: 7.0 (iPhone 4)
Windows: XP and Vista™
macOS: 10.7 (Lion) and 10.8 (Mountain Lion)
Partially Supported Controllers can still browse, search, and play music. But they’ll no longer be able to perform tasks like setting up Sonos components, adding new services, or changing room EQ settings.

Or the update wasn't completed on all devices and your apps are out of sync with the firmware. To check this, go to Settings/Help->About Your Sonos System and check that both the controller and players are on version 7.0.
