Update 11.1 repeatedly fails

I have repeatedly tried to update the Sonos program on my iMac to version 11.1 and keep getting the error message below:

Hi @slenow. Thanks for the post. Because of the unexpected error in the updating process, I would recommend uninstalling the desktop controller (the Sonos data will not be removed). and installing the newest version of the Sonos Desktop Controller.

Because is seems that this error is regarding the controller updating and not the firmware of the Sonos players, you should not have an error with the installation. If you run into any additional problems, please let me know and I would be happy to take a look.
