Unit only works with Phone App not Desktop

On WIRELESS, why will the Player 1 only work with cell phone App and NOT with desktop?

Is your PC on the same network as your phone? Controllers must be on the same subnet as the Sonos devices. For instance, you may have a dual band router. Sonos and your phone may be on your 2.4 Ghz WiFi, and your PC is on the 5 Ghz Wifi. If your router doesn't bridge between the two, the PC cannot connect.
In addition, your desktop firewall may be locking out the Sonos controller. Try enabling the Sonos app in the firewall, then connecting again.
