Unable to add Soundcloud to Sonos

I have tried to add soundcloud to my sonos via my android phone. After authorising the connection from my soundcloud I'm shown a page that confirms the connection, saying it was successful and that I can close the window. When I return to the sonos controller I get a notification saying that something went wrong and soundcloud could not be connected. I have tried restarting the Wifi and also tried uninstalling the soundcloud app on my phone. Any suggestions to why this might be happening?
