TV remote still controls tv speaker volume
I successfully added my remote but I cannot turn the TV speakers off (Sony TV). How do I successfully control the Sonos speakers when watching tv without increasing the tv speaker volume?

on your sony in the settings there is a way to turn that off

You can always use your Sonos Controller app to adjust the volume up and down (and also modify and/or identify the night sound and speech enhancement adjustments you've set) ... Since it goes through the app and not an IR signal, that will only affect the Playbar and not the TV.
